Zeus Design Build

How does the ADU or remodel design process work at Zeus Design Build?

  1. Initial Consultation:
The process often begins with an initial consultation between the homeowner and the design/build team. During this meeting, you can discuss your goals, requirements, and budget for the ADU or other type of remodel project.

  2. Site Assessment:
The design team will visit your property to assess the site’s characteristics, including available space, zoning regulations, and any potential challenges.

  3. Design Concept:
The design team will work with you to create a preliminary design concept that includes floor plans, architectural drawings, and an overall vision for the ADU, kitchen, etc.

  4. Detailed Design and Planning:
Once the initial concept is approved, the design team will develop detailed construction plans, including structural, electrical, and plumbing specifications. They will also consider any necessary permits and code compliance.

  5. Permitting:
Obtaining the necessary permits from local authorities is a crucial step in the process. The design/build team will typically handle the permitting process on your behalf.

  6. Construction:
After receiving permits, construction of the ADU or remodel will begin. This includes site preparation, foundation work, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and all other aspects of construction.

  7. Quality Control and Inspections:
Throughout the construction process, there will be quality control measures and inspections to ensure the project adheres to building codes and industry standards.

  8. Interior Finishing:
The interior finishes, such as flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, and paint, will be completed to your specifications.

  9. Hand Over The Keys :
Once the ADU or other remodel is complete and approved, it will be handed over to you, and you can begin using the space for its intended purpose.
