Zeus Design Build

Stone, Glass, Wood, and Copper

A symphony of elements play together beautifully in this showstopper of an ensuite bathroom. A slate wall extends into the rest of the master suite, separated by a window above the stairs, allowing the bathroom to share the canyon views. The other walls are tiled in smart, bright white subway tiles that match the glossy vessel sink mounted on the custom black walnut vanity. The warm reclaimed wood of the rafters is complemented by the glowing copper floor, painstakingly tiled with real pennies.

Simpson: Clever Period Remodel

The Simpsons were so happy with their kitchen remodel that they asked Zeus Design Build back to tackle their bathroom. Although it was a small space, they wanted to completely restore the room to its craftsman aesthetic, adding contemporary elements where appropriate.

A traditional white and blue color scheme was chosen, complete with minute hexagonal floor tiles. The shower and bath were given a blue glass tile accent, a curved hotel shower rail gave more space to a 50-inch tub, and a place to hang towels.

A clever add-on to the custom cabinets included in-drawer power supply for use with hairdryers or shavers. A double sink unit, framed with white Carrara marble gave the simple cabinetry a touch of luxury. A custom mirror, flanked by frosted lighting, completed the remodel.

Berkeley Residence – Retro Remodel

Seamlessly blending contemporary approaches with period charm, this Berkeley bathroom remodel is the best of both worlds. The glass shower divider shows off the beautiful tilework, while crisp white mouldings and black details pop against appealing aqua walls. Clever built-in storage extends the black-and-white motif. Fresh approach on a classic style.
